This camp has had a huge impact on my life in a very short amount of time. The month before coming to camp had been one of the toughest times in my life with my marriage and kids as well as some other issues.  A few days before camp, I almost cancelled. I prayed about it and the next day a few loose ends were cleaned up that I really needed in order to be able to leave my home and attend this event. Joining the 2020 Faith and Pheasant hunt, with Karin, impacted my life in more ways than one! I had prayed for God to place me in the presence of women who were like me, praised God and loved being outdoors enjoying all the beauty He created! In one weekend, I found those people!!! Being a below the knee amputee, I was so nervous about making the journey from Arkansas to Nebraska by myself, stepping out of my comfort zone and meeting women whom I had only talked to by phone. But when I arrived, Karin, along with the other women there, all greeted me with a smile and instantly made me feel at home. I created many friendships in just 2 days that will last a lifetime. Karin’s love didn’t stop there though. She later invited me to join her Bible studies and she helped me dig deeper into my spiritual growth!!
